Beta-5 Chocolates, Vancouver
Advisory Board Consultant Updating Northwest Pastry Program Objectives
Adam’s story very much describes the unpredictability of one’s eventual path. After graduating from both the culinary and pastry programs, he was unsure of his next step and focus. At the time, it was not going to include working with chocolate, for which he did not have an affinity or interest. But his practicum and industry work did expose his talents in pastry. Always a very creative mind, Adam discovered his penchant for chocolate creativity somewhat by accident. Things, as they say, fell into place, but he would be the first to admit it required first and foremost putting as much of himself “out there” as possible. Was he hesitant about what industry road to take? Who isn’t? And like most, he came to a fork in the road. He took the road that taught him the most. He is now an exceptionally successful businessperson and a visionary in his field.
