The kids’ camp takes place in a professional kitchen allowing the students to step into the role as Chefs for a week. During this one week camp, students will leave understanding how to prepare dishes using hands-on cooking. baking, and pastry techniques. The cooking camp introduces kids to the basics of knife skills and kitchen safety, while preparing dishes with international and local flavours. Designed with kids in mind, this program will keep them engaged and leave them wanting to go home and cook for you.
Dates: Monday, August 14 – Friday, August 18
Cost: $540 (taxes, t-shirt, recipes and all food included)
Maximum: 16 students
Age range: 8-12 years old
**Please note that pre- or post-class care is not provided for this course. Students should arrive no more than 30 minutes before class begins and must be picked up within 30 minutes of class finishing. Parents/guardians who have not picked up their child by this time will be subject to a $25 per 15 minute supervision fee.**
